There are several ways for submitting your High School or College transcripts to UTSA’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. But first, it is important for you to note that transcripts which are faxed, scanned or photocopied will not be accepted or acknowledged.
Also, it is important for you to note that you have to make sure to submit all needed transcripts to the UTSA Office of Undergraduate Admissions by the application deadline and it is not postmarked. When you get your myUTSA ID, you are able to check your status to check what items needed by you to complete your admissions file.

Another way to send a transcript is through electronic way. Electronic high school transcripts will be accepted by The University of Texas at San Antonio as long as the transcripts are sent through TREx and Naviance through Parchment delivery. They also accept electronic college transcripts which are sent through SPEEDE, National Student Clearinghouse, E-Script, Parchment and other Electronic (eTranscript) Exchange systems.
As a student, you are able to request for schools or electronic delivery services to send official transcripts to apply@utsa.edu. It is important for you to know that email containing transcripts received directly from students will not be accepted.
You are also able to send your transcript to UTSA in person. Bringing the official, sealed copy of your transcript in person to UTSA’s One Stop Enrollment Center is also permitted and you can do this during regular business hours.

UTSA Major Specific Admission Requirements
As explained on the website of UTSA, there are certain requirements that indicate success and preparedness for specific majors. So, some majors at UTSA have additional admission requirements for incoming freshman and transfer students to be admitted directly into a college and major.
It is hoped that you can be prepared for your major. Let’s say that you do not need the stated requirements initially, but you meet UTSA’s general admission requirements. If so, you will be admitted into UTSA’s University College in an ‘academic studies’ program based on the major that you applied for.
In these ‘academic studies’, you are offered with prerequisite coursework and core classes which are suitable for your intended major. These are built specifically to prepare you for being successful in that major. Then, as a student, you will be able to move into your major and college after successful completion of these courses.

If you are interested in majoring in the list above, you need to meet the admission requirements which will be explained below. For freshman and transfer students who do not meet these requirements, but they meet UTSA’s general admission requirements, they will be admitted into Business Studies. There, students will work towards meeting the prerequisites which are needed to declare their business major.

They need to meet UTSA’s general admission requirements and they can enroll in MAT 1053 Mathematics for Business or a higher level mathematics course in your first semester at UTSA.
