Step 1: Submit Admission Application
You can apply either through Common App or ApplyTexas. Make sure to choose one of them to submit your application.

Step 2: Pay Application Fee
You are able to pay the non-refundable $70 application fee using credit card via your ApplyTexas application. Alternatively, you can also choose one of the payment methods that we list below!
- Online Payment: You can pay through ASAP using your myUTSA ID with your credit card.
- Check or Money Order: You can also pay using check or money order. Make sure to include your full name and birthdate.
- Fee Waiver: If you choose this payment method, you need to complete all documents.
Step 3: Submit Your Academic Records
After paying the fees, you need to submit your academic records including Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) and Transcripts (Should be sent electronically)
Step 4: Submit Your Test Scores
If you apply to UTSA, you have to complete an admissions file including SAT or ACT test score. To send your scores to UTSA, you need to contact the testing agency (SAT or ACT)
Step 5: Submit Additional Documents
After you have a myUTSA ID, you need to check your status by logging into your ASAP student portal to view all the remaining documents, files or also forms that you have to meet for your admissions. You can also submit an Essays & Letters of Recommendations for additional documents.
