Angleton Independent School District uses Skyward. You may wonder how to create a Skyward family access account, request an account, update your account information and what to do if we forget our password. You will get the information about them here.
Creating a Skyward Family Access Account
With Skyward Family Access, parents and guardians have permission to check grades, view attendance, and update personal information about students. To be able to access Skyward, you have to visit the website of Angleton ISD at www.angletonisd.net and then you have to look under Students & Families for the Skyward link. If you want to download the Skyward app named Skyward Mobile Access, you are able to download it on the App Store or Google Play.
Requesting an Account
You may have never used family access. If so, you must click on the “Need An Account? Request One Here!” that can be found above the login box. For new accounts, it usually takes 1 to 2 business days to be processed. If you have an account already but you forgot your username or password, you are able to use the link below the login box to retrieve it.
It is important for you to know that only one login and password will be created per household. So, parents or guardians can see the digital records of their children with this unique login and password. If the parents or guardians live apart, they may be provided their own unique login user ID and password to be able to access the digital records of their child. So, they need to keep the logins and passwords secure in immediate households and make sure that they do not share the logins and passwords with anyone who is not permitted to see the student’s records.
Skyward Family Access Overview
Here is the overview of the Family Access menu in Skyward.
- Home
If you click it, you will go back to the homepage.
- Student Name
If you click it, it will switch between students.
- My Account
It sign up for email notifications and enable translations.
- Navigation Menu
If you click it, it will navigate to different areas such as schedules, grades and attendance. It is important for you to know that if your window is too small, there will be a + (plus) button instead of these menu options. So, you have to click the plus sign to reveal the menu options.
- Message Center
Messages come from the district, campus and teacher will appear here.
The Steps to Update Your Skyward Account Information
You may need to update your Skyward account information. But, you may not know how to do that. So, you are able to follow the steps below for updating your Skyward account information.
- The first thing that you have to do is to go to the Students & Families tab on the website and then you have to click on the Skyward.
- After that, you have to login with your ID and password.
- After you log in, you have to access your information by clicking on My Account.
- There, you are able to change your information such as email, add a phone number or update your address.
- After you completed updating your information, the next thing that you have to do is to click on Save. So, the changes that you have made is sent to the District for approval.
What To Do If I Forget My Password at Skyward
Forgetting a password is a common mistake. But, you do not have to be worried if you forget your password at Angleton ISD Skyward. The thing that you have to do when you forget your password at Angleton ISD Skyward is to click on the Forgot Your Login/ Password on the login page.
After clicking on it, then you have to enter your email or username. After that, there will be an email which is sent to you and it will prompt you to change your ID or password. Is it very easy to change an ID or password when we forget it, right?
Skyward App
Do you know that Skyward has an app too? You are able to find it on your smartphone by accessing Apple Store for iOS and Google Play Store for Android. In the store, you have to find Skyward Mobile Access. After you find it, you can download it.
After you download it, in the District Name search bar, you have to enter your District Name. Since your district name is Angleton, then you can enter it. After finding it, then you have to enter your login and password.
It is important for you to know that in the app, you are only able to view your account and information. However, you are able to navigate to the desktop version to change your information there.

In 2001, CNN’s Technology Spotlight program had Family Access and then Skyward partnered with the Washington School Information Processing Cooperative to spread solutions to almost 300 districts in WA.
In 2009, they launched the first web based version of their platform. In 2011, Skyward was recognized by the Texas Education Agency as one of only two preferred statewide Student information system providers. In 2012, they released the School Management System 2.0 with an improved user interface reflecting modern web practices.
Skyward also has achieved a number of awards and one of them is by EdTech Digest as its Company of the Year for 2019.
