PowerSchool UCPS

Union County Public Schools is aware of the needs of something that can provide both the students and the parents or guardians of the students the thing that is able to use to access the current grades and attendance information, as well as some other information. That’s why they use a portal known as PowerSchool.

PowerSchool is able to be used by the students and the parents or guardians of the students who are currently enrolled in the schools under Union County Public Schools. PowerSchool UCPS

For the parents or the guardians of the students with the children in the schools under Union County Public Schools, you will have to create a new PowerSchool Parent Portal account if you want to access the grades, attendance, schedules, transcripts, and some other things related to your children. To be able to create a new account, please go to the front office and show your photo ID. By doing so, you will be given your Access ID and password. After having both your Access ID and password in your hand, the next thing that you have to do is to create your PowerSchool Parent Portal account by following these following steps:

  1. First of all, open your favorite internet browser on your computer.
  2. When it opens, enter https://www.ucps.k12.nc.us/Domain/11 in to the address bar and click on the PowerSchool Parent Portal link located on the right.
  3. Afterward, find and click the Create Account button. If you have no idea, it is found at the bottom of the page. Please complete everything on the top half of the page.
  4. If you want to link a student or your child to your account, you will have to enter the name of the student, the Access ID, and the Access Password into the columns. You will also need to choose your relationship to the student from the drop down menu.
  5. If you have more than one student who is currently enrolled in a school under Union County Public Schools, you can add a few things to the list, including their names, Access IDs that they got from the school, and the password. Actually, it is also possible for you to also add additional students after logging in from the first time.
  6. After adding all the students to the list, it is time for you to click the blue enter button to finish the process of creating an account.
  7. Once the process of creating an account is done, you can sign in to the portal by entering the username and password.

For those who rarely use your computer or laptop, there is an app version of PowerSchool UCPS. Here is the tutorial that you need to follow to access the portal from your phone:

  1. Firstly, you should download the mobile app of PowerSchool UCPS called PowerSchool Mobile from either Google Play Store or App Store, depending on your phone.
  2. When the process of installing the app is done, you can open the app.
  3. When it opens, enter RXWK for the district code.
  4. Then, enter the same username and password as the one that you used when you created the account.
  5. The last thing that should be done is to click the Sign in as Parent button.

If you are a student who is currently enrolled in the school under Union County Public Schools, you might also want to access PowerSchool UCPS from your mobile phone. To do so, the method is a bit different compared to the one for parents or guardians. Please follow this guide instead:

  1. The first thing that you will have to do is to download the mobile version of the PowerSchool named PowerSchool Mobile from App Store for those with iOS and from Google Play Store if you are an Android user.
  2. After downloading the app, install it.
  3. Once it has been installed on your phone, open it.
  4. When you open the app for the first time, you will be presented with the Sign In page. As you are the first time user, click “Where is my district code?” link and you will be taken to the District Code Help page.
  5. On the District Code Help page, click “Search for Your District”.
  6. Then, enter ucps.powerschool.com/public in the PowerSchool Server Address column.
  7. Do not forget to click the Submit button.
  8. Apparently, the District Code will auto-populate and remain populated every time you open the app for the new session.
  9. Next, Click Continue as Student.
  10. Lastly, enter your NCEdCloud username and password.
