Accessing PowerSchool On TSC Website
How to access PowerSchool on the TSC website? If you want to access PowerSchool, you have to access the website of Tippecanoe School Corporation (TSC) which can be acceseed at www.tsc.k12.in.us. After that, when you are in the home page of the website, you have to put your cursor of your mouse on the Departments menu and then click on the Technology.
After you click on the Technology, then you have to click on the TSC Tech Links in the left side of the screen where you can find it after you scroll the page. After you click on the TSC Tech Links, you will be taken to the TSC Tech Links page where there are a number of options to other applications such as Canvas, Edmentum, Destiny, Gale, Brainpop, Reading Eggs, PowerSchool and many more. Now, the thing that you have to do is to click on the PowerSchool option.
Now, you are in the TSC PowerSchool page where there are some options including PowerSchool Parent/ Student, PowerSchool Admin, PowerSchool Teacher, and PowerSchool Substitute. So, just the option that is suitable for you. Let’s say that you are a parent, then you have to choose PowerSchool Parent/ Student. After that, usually you have to enter your login credentials.
Another way for accessing PowerSchool in TSC is by accessing the official website of TSC and then you have to click on the Quicklinks menu at the top right of the home page. Then, there will be a number of options and you have to choose PowerSchool. Now, you will be in the TSC PowerSchool page where there are some options including PowerSchool Parent/ Student, PowerSchool Admin, PowerSchool Teacher, and PowerSchool Substitute. If you are a parent or student, you have to click on the PowerSchool Parent/ Student. Then, you will need to fill in your login credentials.
PowerSchool Mobile Apps
You are able to access PowerSchool through mobile apps. For you who use iOS or Android devices, you are able to download PowerSchool. If you are a user of Android OS, you are able to download it on Google Play Store. If you are an iOS user, you can download it on the App Store.
Here are the features that you are able to use in the PowerSchool Mobile App.
- Dashboard
It is the same as the Quick Lookup screen on the PowerSchool Student and Parent portal. Here, you are able to see a column and row view of an individual student’s schedule. The rows are managed as the student’s schedule aaand the columns are the grades. In the last column, there is a total count of absences for each specific section. Tapping on a section title, grade or attendance total will show the specific data details.
- Assignments
It shows all assignments and the related score. You have to tap on an assignment to see details. If you want to post the assignment grade on Facebook, you have to tap on Share. If you want to see details, you have to tap the category. The Filter option permits you to group or sort data, or filter data by terms.
- Grades
You have to tap the tabs across the top of the screen if you want to see Final Grades, Standards or Citizenship grades. You can tap the grade if you want to see grade details. For posting the grade to Facebook, you have to tap Share. If you choose the Filter option, it will group or sort data or filter data by terms.
- Attendance
It shows student attendance. If you choose the Filter option, it will permit you to group or sort data or filter data by terms.
- Schedule
It shows the current student schedule. You can tap on a course if you want to see course details and then tap on an assignment or grade if you want to view further details. If you choose the Filter option, it will permit you to group or sort data, or filter data by terms.
- Teachers
It will show all teachers for the student. If you want to view the courses that they teach with the student, you have to tap on a teacher name. You have to tap the email address to send an email to the teacher. If you want to view course details, you have to tap a course.
- Activities
It shows all school activities for the student.
- Email Alerts
Here, you can set the type of email alerts that you want to receive. You have to use the controls to set the type of email alerts to receive. Also, you are able to set the frequency of how often you receive email alerts and set a distribution list.
- Live Feed
It shows current assignment grades, final grades, absences and activities.
- Summaries
Here, you are able to view current absences, fee balance, GPA, and meal balance for each student related to the parent account.
- Announcements
Here, you are able to see all announcements for all students related to the parent account.
- Calendar
Here, you are able to see events, announcements, activities, scores and fee balances for all students related to the parent account. You have to tap the navigation arrows to scroll through the calendar to see past or future dates. There is the Filter option that you can use for showing or hiding specific data on the calendar.
There are also Parent/ Student Settings for your PowerSchool Mobile App and here are some of them.
- Enable Passcode Lock
It can be used for iOS app only. Here, you can enable it to require a passcode to access the app.
- Notifications
Here, you can enable push notifications for final grades and/or attendance.
- Attendance Codes
Here, you are able to see attendance codes for the district.
- Student Photos
It manages the student photo where you are able to choose an existing photo, take a new photo, delete an existing photo or update the photo from the PowerSchool server.
