PowerSchool Parent Portal

PowerSchool Parent Portal gives the parents and students access to real-time information including grades, attendance, and detailed assignment descriptions, lunch menus, school bulletins, and even personal messages from the teacher.

Everyone stays connected. The students stay on top of assignments. The parents are able to participate in their student’s progress. And the teachers are able to use their grade book to make decisions on what information they want to share with the students and parents.

For note: When making an account, the password must be 8 characters long.

How to make a parent account?

  1. The first thing that you have to do is visit the PowerSchool login page by clicking this link: https://lpps.powerschool.com/public/
  2. After that, click on the Create Account tab. Then, click on the Create Account button. Create Account tab
  3. Please enter the following information under the “Create Parent Account” section:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email (must be unique)
  • Desired Username (must be unique)
  • Password
  • Re-enter Password
  1. The second section shown on the page, “Link students to Account,” needs that the information for at least one student be provided, and also includes the following:
  • Student Name
  • Access ID -provided by your school
  • Access Password- Provided by your school
  • Relationship

You will be able to enter the information for up to seven students when initially creating your account. Adding additional students are able to be accomplished after making the account by signing in and going to Account Management > Students

Common errors can include:

  • Not completing all fields
  • Entering an email address or username which is already associated to another account
  • Entering incorrect access IDs or passwords.

If this happens, you need to re-enter any information that was not entered correctly. Also, you need to re-enter your passwords for security reasons.

  • After that, you need to submit your username correctly.
  • The next step, submit your own password.
  • The last step, you are able to click the sign in button.

  • Once you are on the page of Student and Parent Sign in, you have to click Forgot Username or Password? link. By clicking that link you are able to get rid of your password.

  • Please submit the parent username.
  • Then, submit the parent email address.
  • The last step, click the enter button.

Account Preferences

The Account Preferences page is available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal. It is accessible (once you have signed in) by clicking the Account Preferences icon in the top navigation menu. This page is going to allow you to manage account information, including name, account password, user name, and email address. Additional students are able to be added to your account which you have the access ID and password for the student.  If you did not receive a username and password for your student, simply you are able to call the school.
