You are permitted to see your child’s grades and assignments soon after the teacher enters the data into his/ her electronic gradebook at the high school and K-8 schools. Even though the teacher tries to record grades in a timely manner, but the time needed to accomplish this task is different from teacher to teacher.
You can use PowerSchool to monitor the progress of your child. You can look for any unusual changes in grades or attendance. However, you have to realize that the final grade for a course is based on a number of factors including extra credit, class participation, dropping the lowest grade and many more.
You can see the teacher’s email address in PowerSchool. The email address can be used by you to communicate with the teacher through email or by phone.
