Are there any medical requirements?
Yes, the students have to own health insurance to be approved to begin. Please send proof with completed approval paperwork. For note: A Rabies vaccine is not required, however you have to sign a waiver stating that you understand the risk and agree not to work with patients of unknown vaccine status. Penn Foster does not give this Rabies vaccine to students.
What is a Fast Track Lab?
A Fast track lab is a location where the students are able to complete all Large Animal Externship Skills over a weekend or some days at the student’s expense.
