Octo Quickbase DCPS

First, let’s find out about the QuickBase. QuickBase, Inc., is a platform which provides a low code application development platform named Quick Base. It is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts and it was divested from Intuit in march 2016. There are more than 6,000 customers who use QuickBase. It includes half of the Fortune 100, across a variety of industries and use cases. Also, it includes process and project management, customer and contracts management, asset and order tracking, time and expense, sales and HR applications.

According to Wikipedia, QuickBase is a low-code platform. It permits non-technical developers to be able to build, customize and connect scalable, secure cloud applications which are mapped to unique business challenges without having to compromise IT governance and control. This platform is known for empowering citizen developers in the line of business to be able to send ‘right for me’ cloud applications with the visibility and accountability which is required by IT.

Now, how to access QuickBase through the DCPS (District of Columbia Public Schools) site? If you access the District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Employment Verification System page, you will be able to see My Apps in the top left of the site. You have to click on it and then you will be directed to the Octo QuickBase page. On that page, you have to sign in by entering your username and also your password.

What do we have to do if we forgot our password? If you forgot your password, you have to click on I Forgot My Password under the Sign In button and then you will be directed to a page where you have to enter your email or your username. After entering your email or username, then you have to press the Reset My Password button.

What do we have to do if we are not a Quickbase user? If you are not a Quickbase user, on the Octo Quick Base page, you have to click on Create A Log In. When you click on that, you will be brought to a page where you have to enter your email address. When you enter your email address, you have to make sure that you enter your correct email address. If your email address is not correct, you will not be able to complete registration. If you are sure that you enter the correct email, then you have to press the Next button. However, since it is a private Quick Base site, so you have to request access from an administrator of octo.quickbase.com.

If you are in the website of DCPS (District of Columbia Public School) site at dcps.dc.gov, you are also able to access Octo QuickBase by putting your cursor on About DCPS and then click on Frequently Used Links. After you click it, you will be brought to a page where there are a number of links and one of them is QuickBase. Just click on it and then you will be directed to the Octo QuickBase login page.
