The online registration of KNUST for the bachelor’s degree and diploma courses is open to qualified for all the learners who have achieved the requirements of the KNUST admission. Those are the WASSACE or SSSCE holders who have credits (A1-C6 or A-D) respectively in the following core subjects like mathematics, English language and integrated sciences plus credits (A1-C6 or A-D) in three elective subjects with the aggregate score of 24 or better in the relevant areas of study.
For the general business certificate, the students have to pass in three compulsory subjects, including English and mathematics and passes in any three elective subjects. For the advanced one, every student has to credits in at least 5 subjects a the GCE ‘O’ level or is equivalent including English language and at least three things passes in the subjects at the advanced level.
For the Advanced Business Certificate Examination, the students have to get through the three subjects with minimum one of the passes should be Grade D or better. They have to credit passes in five subjects including English, mathematics and integrated sciences in the General Business Certificate Examination.
For the diploma courses, all WASCCE students with D7 and E8 in the core subjects will be required to participate and pass the access course of the institute. As for the students with F9 in any of the core subjects, they do not qualify.
Aside from that, the HND students with three years relevant working experience in addition to the minimum entry need WASSCE or SSSCE or five GCE O level credits including English and mathematics. For the mature ones, they have to attained the age of 25 at the time of application and have 5 credits in 5 GCE O level subjects including English, mathematics and integrated sciences. This thing also applies for every foreign student and all the others who have the above qualifications on the equivalent and are from the accredited institution.
For the mature students who have attained the age of 25 years or above prior to the time of application and have credits in 5 GCE O level subjects including English and mathematics, you are allowed to apply.
