  1. American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT)

After completing both a written and practical exam with the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT), you will gain the certificate. You will also gain a certificate with ASPT with an annual CEUS required to maintain certification.

  1. National Phlebotomy Association (NPA)

As long as you pass either a written or oral exam, you will get a certificate easily issued by the National Phlebotomy Association (NPA).

  1. American Medical Technologists (AMT)

American Medical Technologists (AMT) also issues the registered phlebotomy certification. In order to get a phlebotomy certificate with AMT, there are  some requirements you should meet, including:

  • You should pass an accredited phlebotomy course in the last four years.
  • You should obtain  a cumulative 1040+ hours of experience as a phlebotomy technician in the last three years.
  • You should work as a health program instructor with at least three years of teaching experience.
  • You should pay a fee if you really have a phlebotomist certification from another organization
