There are a number of articles in Google Scholar. A lot of them have been cited by the others. What are the articles that have been cited in this platform and how to find them? Here is the step by step to follow to find the most cited articles in Google Scholar:
- The first thing that you need to do is to open your favorite browser and then go to the official website of Google Scholar.
- When you are there, find the triple bar located at the top left side of the page and click it.
- Then, choose Metrics. It is the fourth option from top.
- After that, click Learn more that is located next to Top cited publications over the last five years.
- On the page entitled Google Scholar Metrics, there is a link that you can click to browse the top 100 publications in several languages. Everything is ordered by their five year h-index and h-median metrics. Visit link here.
- If you want to find the articles in a publication that were cited the most, you can just go to the link above and then click on its h-index number. By doing so, you will be able to see the articles and the citations underlying the metrics.
