How to Login to D2L at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC)
The most important thing that you need to know about using D2L is how to login to D2L. It is because logging in is like a key to access D2L. If you do not know how to log in to D2L at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC), you will not be able to access everything about D2L.
If you are a GGC student, faculty member or staff of Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC), you have to click on the green GGC Login button at ggc.view.usg.edu. After clicking on this button, you will be taken to the normal GGC login page where you have to enter your username and password.
Can you login? If you cannot login because you forgot your password, it means that you have to reset your password. How to reset password? In the page of the link that we have given above, you have to click on Password Reset. Then, you will be taken to a page where you are able to reset your password by entering your email or username and then entering the character in the picture or words in the audio. Next, you have to follow the instructions there.
If you are non MFA and you want to reset your password, you can do that by clicking on the Password Reset – (Non-MFA) in the link that we have given above. If you access the technology support services (helpdesk) of GGC website, there is a description that Technology Support Services manages almost 3,000 computers in the classroom computer labs, in the Library and Information Commons areas across GGC campus. They also provide Help Desk support to students, employees and remote support for GGC-owned computers.
The services which are offered by Technology Support Services of GGC can be seen below.
- They provide troubleshooting technical issues which are related to GGC-owned software and hardware devices.
- They maintain and manage computer labs and laptop carts.
- They serve GGC user ID password resets excluding banner pin resets.
- They maintain and install software for GGC issued hardware.
- They manage GGC inventory of laptops for all GGC faculty and staff.
- They handle the processing and management of GGC cell phones which are issued to eligible faculty and staff.
- They manage the upkeep and maintenance of all software installed on almost 3,000 computers on GGC campus.
They are available from Monday to Thursday at 8 am to 5 pm. On Friday, they are available from 8 am to 12 pm. On Saturday and Sunday, they are closed.
