D2L is a course management in electronic system which is used by DePaul. It can be used to interact between students and faculty. - We Do Not See A Class We Are Registered For
If you do not see a class that you are registered for, there are some reasons for a class that may not show up in D2L. If you find that a course does not appear in D2L, the thing that you have to do is to choose “View All Courses” and then you have to search for it. If the course is found, you have to pin the course. So, it will appear on the homepage. If you register in the last 24 hours, the registration may not be processed yet so that you do not see a class that you are registered for. So, you have to wait 24 to 48 hours after you register for a course to appear in D2L.
It is also important for you to note that the course may not be active. The ones who are responsible for activating the course are the instructors. So, you are able to contact the instructor of the course to see when it will be activated. In addition, if you find that the course has not yet begun, it may not be visible in D2L. If this is the issue, you are able to contact the instructor to see when the course will be visible. You can also contact the TSC if the course is not able to be found.
- We Cannot See A Class We Were Enrolled in Last Term
If you cannot see a class that you are enrolled in the last term, you are able to see it by using the terms options on the D2L homepage to access the term during which that class was taken. However, if you have done it and you are not able to find it there, the instructor may have deactivated it.
- How to View Feedback on a Submission
If you want to view feedback on a submission, you have to go to the submission area of D2L and then you have to find the assignment. If feedback is provided by the instructor, you can see it under the “Evaluation Status” column as a link that reads “Feedback: Unread.” You have to choose this link to be taken to the feedback page. In the Overall Feedback section, Feedback can appear within the rubric if one was used or by choosing the View Inline Feedback link that you can find under the “Inline Feedback” column.
- The Reasons We Cannot Start Our Quiz
If you are trying to access a quiz now, but you find that it cannot be accessed. Instead, you find an error message which says ‘Not Authorized’ or ‘Internal Error’. It can happen because of one of some reasons. The quiz may not be able to be accessed because the due date has passed. Or, it may happen because the quiz has not been released yet so that you can contact the instructor. Another reason is that if you have tried to get the quiz and you have reached the maximum number of your attempts, your access may be denied.
- How to View Feedback on a Quiz
If you want to view feedback on a quiz, the thing that you are able to do is to go to the Quizzes area of D2L and then you have to find the quiz there. If the instructor has provided feedback, you will find it under the Evaluation Status column as a link that reads “Feedback: On Attempt.” You need to choose this link so that you will be brought to the feedback page. Then, you need to choose the attempt to view feedback for and the quiz will open with the instructor feedback.
- How to Put a Video to a Discussion
