CSULB Class Schedule Information

For those the new students of California State University Long Beach or CSULB who are wondering where to get the information about the class schedule, you can go to its page. By clicking on this following link, you will be directed to that page here.

On the page, it is informed that starting in Fall 2021, a lot of classes will be back to face to face or hybrid modes of instruction. You are encouraged to visit this following page regularly to get the newest update about the health and safety guidelines at the university: https://www.csulb.edu/covid-19.

CSULB Class Schedule Information

According to the page, it is stated that for a class that is in an alternate mode of instructions, the instructors will communicate any tools or it will be needed for the resources students to access the class lecturer, notes, and exams online. You can check out BeachBoard, Zoom, and the other technologies to get the information. It is really important to be aware of the potential change in the schedule of each class, as well as the location, and class notes that are based on an update in health and safety guidelines.  There will be one of the following formats in every class:

  • Synchronous online: It means every class will be remote at scheduled days and times.
  • Asynchronous online: It means there is no scheduled day and time, which also means that all the students are able to complete work at different times throughout the week.
  • Mixed online: It means each class will be remote. However, there will be a few meetings at scheduled days and times and some asynchronous work.
  • Hyflex: It means the class will be split between students who are enrolled in face to face instruction and those who are enrolled in synchronous online instruction. There will also be meetings at scheduled days and times.
  • Hybrid with synchronous online: It means some face to face instruction and some synchronous scheduled days and times online class meetings.
  • Hybrid with asynchronous online: It means some face to face instruction and some asynchronous online components. There will be no scheduled meeting times.
  • Face to face on campus: It means there will be in person class meetings at scheduled days and times on campus.
  • Face to face off campus: It means there will be in person class meetings at scheduled days and times at a community site.

There are two things that will require you to be on campus or a community site. These two are hybrid and face to face classes.
