The first one is the map of the Preferred Provider Organization or PPO network coverage for California groups and the second one is the map of the Health Maintenance Organization or HMO network coverage for California groups. - The areas with lilac color are the areas of the Aetna Open Access Managed Choice network or OAMC. The Aetna Open Access Managed Choice network, which is also more known as OAMC in short, is the name of Aetna’s national network. This one is available in every county in California with the exception of Mendocino, Sierra, Alpine and Inyo. There are more than 111,000 providers and 407 hospitals in this network. These areas include Del Norte, Siskiyou, Modoc, Humboldt, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Tehama, Glenn, Butte, Plumas, Lake, Colusa, Napa, Nevada, Marin, Santa Cruz, Calaveras, Toulumne, Mariposa, Mono, Merced, Madera, Fresno, San Benito, Monterey, Kings, Tulare, Kern, San Luis Obispo, San Barbara, Ventura, and Imperial.
- The areas that are highlighted with purple color are the areas of the Aetna Whole Health – Southern California PPO network. There are more than 1,700 primary care physicians in the Aetna Whole Health – Southern California PPO network. Not only that, there are also a total of 57 hospitals. These areas include Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego.
- The triangle icon with black color shows the Savings Plus network. There are more than 39,000 providers and 208 hospitals in the Savings Plus network. These ones include Fresno, Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego.
- The areas that are highlighted with green color are the areas of the Sutter Health Aetna venture network. There are more than 14,000 primary care physicians and specialists in the Sutter Health Aetna joint venture network. Aside from that, this network also has a total of 33 hospitals. These areas include Sonoma, Yuba, Sutter, Yolo, Solano, Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Amador (SI only), Contra Costa, San Joaquin, Alameda, Stanislaus, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara.
- The areas that are highlighted with white color are the areas with no network coverage. These areas include Mendocino, Sierra, Alpine, and Inyo.
